Rex lives in Morrisville, Pennsylvania with his wife Lisa and daughter and is a graduate of several institutions including the New York Institute of Photography as well as Penn College/Penn State, and others. Rex holds a certificate in Professional Photography, and degrees in Business Technology Management, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology. Rex has spent over 22 years in military service crossing the globe accomplishing both peacetime missions and missions during hostilities including the Gulf War. Rex has worked in many diversified fields in the corporate environment, from a cook for Hilton Hotels, owner of a mobile D.J. business, computer technician, network analyst, information systems manager, and a computer system principal architect.
Rex Alfes has been behind the camera since the early 1980's and in the darkroom from a very young age and applies years of experience to the photography craft. He now gives his full attention towards being the premiere portrait, commercial, and family photographer in the Northern Philadelphia area.
